Tandoori Dal Recipe: Ek Swadisht Hinglish Recipe

Aaj hum banayenge Tandoori Dal, jo ki ek unique twist hai humari traditional dal recipe ka. Yeh recipe un logon ke liye perfect hai jo dal ko ek naya aur interesting flavour dena chahte hain. Ingredients:

1 cup toor dal (arhar dal)

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 tomatoes, finely chopped

1 inch ginger, finely chopped

4-5 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 green chilies, finely chopped

1/2 cup curd (dahi)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)

1 teaspoon garam masala

1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)

2 tablespoons ghee or oil

Salt to taste

1 piece of charcoal

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Dal ko Pakayein

Pehle dal ko achi tarah se dhoke 15-20 minutes ke liye paani mein bhigo dein.

Pressure cooker mein dal, haldi aur namak dalke 3-4 seetiyaan lagayein, taki dal achi tarah se gal jaye. Cooker ka pressure khatam hone ke baad, dal ko ek taraf rakh dein.

Step 2: Tandoori Tadka ke Liye

Ek kadahi mein ghee ya oil garam karein. Usme jeera daalein aur use phatne dein.

Phir isme pyaaz daalke bhunein jab tak wo golden brown na ho jaye.

Ab isme adrak, lahsun aur hari mirch daalein aur 2-3 minutes tak bhunein.

Iske baad tomatoes daalke acche se mix karein aur tamatar ko galne dein.

Tamatar galne ke baad isme dahi daalein aur achi tarah se bhunein taki masala oil chhodne lage.

Ab isme lal mirch powder, garam masala aur namak daalke mix karein.

Step 3: Dal aur Masala ko Mix Karein

Pakki hui dal ko is masala mixture mein daal dein aur acche se mix karein.

Dal ko 5-7 minutes tak sim gas pe pakaayein taki sab flavours acche se mix ho jayein.

Step 4: Smoky Tandoori Flavour ke Liye

Ek piece charcoal ko gas pe directly heat karein jab tak wo red hot na ho jaye.

Charcoal ko ek small metal bowl ya piece of foil pe rakhein aur usse dal ke upar daal dein.

Ab is charcoal ke upar thoda ghee daalein aur turant hi dal ko cover kar dein. Dhuaan dal ke andar chala jayega aur use ek smoky tandoori flavour dega.

2-3 minutes ke liye ise cover hi rehne dein taki smoky flavour dal mein achi tarah se ghul jaye.

Step 5: Garnishing aur Serve Karein

Dhuaan nikalne ke baad, dal ko fresh coriander leaves se garnish karein.

Garma garam tandoori dal ko roti, naan ya chawal ke saath serve karein.

Tips:

Aap dal ke mixture mein thoda butter bhi daal sakte hain extra richness ke liye.

Charcoal smoke ka flavour zyada strong hota hai, isliye dhyaan rakhein ke smoke dal mein zyada der tak na rahe.
