1/2 tsp rai (mustard seeds)

1/2 tsp hing (asafoetida)

2-3 sukhi lal mirch (dried red chilies)

1 medium pyaz, finely chopped (onion)

2-3 lahsun ki kaliyan, finely chopped (garlic cloves)

1 tsp adrak, grated (ginger)

1-2 hari mirch, finely chopped (green chilies)

2 medium tamatar, finely chopped (tomatoes)

1/2 tsp garam masala

2 tbsp hara dhaniya, chopped (coriander leaves)

Steps (Vidhi)

Dal banane ki vidhi:

Dal ko bhigoen: Pehle arhar dal ko achhe se dho kar 30 minutes ke liye bhigo dein. Yeh step zaroori hai taki dal jaldi pak jaye aur soft ho jaye.

Dal ko pressure cook karen: Bhigi hui dal ko pressure cooker mein daal kar 3 cups pani, haldi aur namak mila dein. Cooker ka lid band kar ke 3-4 seeti lagne tak cook karen. Jab pressure cooker apne aap cool down ho jaye, dal ko ek spoon se mash kar lein taki ek smooth consistency mil sake.

Tadka banane ki vidhi:

Tadka ke liye ghee garam karen: Ek kadhai mein ghee garam karen. Jab ghee garam ho jaye, ismein jeera aur rai daal kar tadka lagaein. Jab ye phatne lagen, hing aur sukhi lal mirch daal dein.

Pyaz aur lahsun fry karen: Ab is tadke mein finely chopped pyaz aur lahsun daal kar bhunen. Inhe golden brown hone tak fry karen taki ek achha flavor aaye.

Adrak aur hari mirch add karen: Ab grated adrak aur finely chopped hari mirch daal kar ek minute tak fry karen. Yeh dal tadka ko ek spicy kick denge.

Tamatar aur masale milayen: Ab is mixture mein finely chopped tamatar daal kar bhunen. Tamatar ko tab tak pakayein jab tak wo soft aur mushy na ho jayein. Iske baad lal mirch powder aur garam masala daal kar ache se mix kar lein.

Cooked dal ko tadke mein milayen: Ab jo dal humne pressure cook karke rakhi thi, usey is tadke mein mila dein. Sab kuch ache se mix kar ke 5-10 minutes tak simmer karne dein taki tadka aur dal ka flavor ache se mil jaye.

Hara dhaniya daal kar garnish karen: Last mein finely chopped hara dhaniya dal kar dal tadka ko garnish karen. Ye dal tadka ko fresh aur aromatic banayega.

Serving (Parosne ka Tarika)
